Who we were then…

Mike, a scholar-athlete from Trenton; Tiffany, a college-bound cheerleader from Mt. Holly, connected by a summer job - sustained by a timeless bond; our paths converged by way of fate to build the love story we celebrate today.

Where it all began…

Back in 2001 everyone wanted to work at Six Flags Great Adventure, but only the cool kids worked in Rides. "You're not working!" Tiffany's jests would echo from above at the Runaway Mine Train down to Mike as he passed by on his way to Medusa. What began as playful banter would lay the foundation for a long lasting friendship.

How it really started…

Mike was able to get Tiff's email address via a mutual coworker/friend and penned a letter expressing his interest in her. Mike and Tiff shared countless conversations and laughs over AIM chat and lengthy phone calls. And while Tiffany was clearly into Mike, her nerves got the best of her and she canceled their first date at the last minute. Luckily for her, Mike was patient and understanding.

What happened next…

There eventually was a first date, then prom, and graduations. Although post high school plans took us in different directions, it was our tie for all the things we had in common that kept us connected over the years. Reaching out with occasional check-ins (or like clockwork according to Tiffany) Mike's persistence ensured he was never forgotten in Tiff's mind. Like many recent love stories, our flame was reignited during the pandemic and made official by Mike's first trip to Dallas in 2021.

When it's meant to be…

In April of 2024, we had plans to celebrate our three year dating anniversary with dinner in Downtown Dallas. With the back drop of the Dallas skyline and a stellar sunset, Mike asked for Tiff's hand in marriage atop the Reunion Tower. Spoiler alert; she said yes!
