How far is the venue from the airport?

Guests who are flying in can choose to fly into either the Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) or Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW). ORD is 18 miles from the venue and MDW is 13 miles from the venue.

What is the best way to get from the airport to the venue?

From Chicago O’Hare:

1.) Uber/Lyft (price depends on timing, but during rush hour can get pricy): ride share is probably the easiest and quickest way to get into the city. PLEASE NOTE: if you choose to take an Uber/Lyft from O’Hare, they will only pick you up from TERMINAL 2 - DEPARTURES. If you land in another terminal, you must go to terminal 2 departures in order to access the ride share pickup zone.

2.) Public Transportation ($2.50 per ride): You can take the CTA blue line to the Illinois & McClurg stop. From there, it is a 7 minute walk to the venue.

3.) Car rental: you can always rent a car and drive to the venue, but Chicago is a city where it is easier (and cheaper) to get around without a car.

From Chicago Midway:

1.) Uber/Lyft (price depends on timing, but during rush hour can get pricy): ride share is probably the easiest and quickest way to get into the city.

2.) Public Transportation ($2.50 per ride): You can take the orange line to the State/Lake stop. From there, you may transfer to the 29 bus and get off at the Illinois & McClurg stop. From there, it is a 7 minute walk to the venue.

3.) Car rental: you can always rent a car and drive to the venue, but Chicago is a city where it is easier (and cheaper) to get around without a car.

How much does parking cost at the wedding venue?

If you are not staying overnight at the hotel venue: $39 per car

If you are a guest at the W hotel: $79 per night (valet only)

Holy cow! Venue parking is too expensive for me. What if I do not want to park at the wedding venue?

If you choose not to park at the wedding venue, please see below for some alternative options. Prices below are an estimate and may change depending on when the spot is booked.

NOTE: WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND RESERVING YOUR PARKING SPOT ONLINE AHEAD OF TIME, given that our wedding is during a holiday weekend. Here are two garages within a 2-minute walk of the venue that you can consider reserving a spot for:

1.) LAZ Parking - Axis Garage (~$30 per night, 1 min walk from The W) - please note that this garage does NOT allow in and out privileges; once you leave the garage, you will not be gained re-entry.

2.) SP+ Parking Garage at 475 E Huron St (~$20-$40 per night, 2 min walk from The W) - this garage allows in and out privileges for an extra charge.
