This is Tiffany's favorite area of Buffalo! So many fun things to do all within walking distance.
Grab breakfast at Swan Street Diner (be prepared to wait) or Toasted. Lounge in Larkin Square. Explore some vibrant and colorful murals along Seneca Street. Go shopping at the Lounge Shop or BKindCity, Eat lunch/dinner at Hydraulic Hearth on their amazing patio or Bratts Hill. Grab a sweet treat at Blue Table Chocolate or the famous Paula's Donuts. Go brewery hopping - our favorites include Flying Bison and Belt Line - or enjoy a cocktail at Buffalo Distilling.
Buffalo RiverWorks

Buffalo RiverWorks is a massive, 60,000 square foot indoor/outdoor event center located along the banks of the Buffalo River. Go kayaking, climb a silo, ride a ferris wheel, play some arcade games or enjoy a beer and food by the river!
Buffalo AKG Art Museum

The Buffalo AKG Art Museum (formerly the Albright-Knox Art Gallery) is one of the oldest museums dedicated to the art of our time, and the sixth oldest public art institution in the United States. Throughout its evolution to the Albright Art Gallery, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, and now the Buffalo AKG, has given rise to an extraordinary collection of modern and contemporary art.
Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens
Distance from LECOM Marriott: 12-min drive
Renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted designed South Park in Buffalo, which eventually became the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens. In addition to the thousands of species of plant life arranged in beautiful themed gardens, the main attraction here is the Victorian conservatory, which was inspired by London’s Crystal Palace.
Hiking/Strolling
Niagara Falls (26-min drive): Buffalo's main attraction! Bring your passport if you want to see the Falls from the better side (Canada).
Outer Harbor/Wilkeson Point (5-min ferry): Rent a bike (or walk) in Canalside and hop on the Queen City Ferry ($1 each way) to get to the Outer Harbor where there are plenty of walking paths.
Bird Island Pier (9-min drive): Walk 2.2 miles on a path with great views of the Niagara River, Lake Erie, the Peace Bridge and the Buffalo skyline.
Delaware Park (10-min drive): Visit Buffalo's largest 350-acre park. Walk around Hoyt Lake, visit the Japanese gardens, or enjoy a beer from Resurgence Brewing at Resurgence in the Park.
