There's not much more to tell than what you already know. Tiffany and Geoff found each other in a quintessentially 21st century kind of way... playing MMORPGs (look it up!) and typing each other the stories of theirlives between quests into the wee hours.

Geoff was living in Victoria in his tiny bachelor pad with his cat Spazz and working as an engineer. Tiffany was living in Troutdale with her son Maddox and working as a manager at a retail store. Both of them were searching for something missing in their lives... and the best was yet to come.

As the months passed the typing evolved into conversations on Skype and the occasional rendezvous in Oregon or British Columbia. Still, the future was unclear with an international border separating the two.

In November of 2012 the two of them made it official and stopped denying how strong their feelings had become. The new couple began to visit more frequently and met each other's families. Geoff visited Oregon on a number of occasions including a 2014 camping trip to the coast, concerts at Edgefield and the arena formerly known as the Rose Garden and many days enjoying the company of Tiffany and her family. Tiffany regularly visited British Columbia where they kayaked, whale watched, took yoga classes together, visited the museum and art galleries and took in some incredible shows like the Vinyl Cafe Christmas special. Their love blossomed and grew but still the border loomed large on the horizon...

In the summer of 2015 Geoff approached an immigration lawyer to get advice on applying for a working visa. The application was approved in November and by December of 2015 Geoff and Tiffany packed up Geoff's life in Victoria, herded a cat into a U-haul and set out south for the start of their greatest adventure together.

The months since the move required a lot of adjustment and learning to share time and space but always, and every day, the happy couple tackles these challenges together.

In the summer of 2016 Tiffany accepted Geoff's proposal of marriage. It was the happiest few days so far... On August 20th they will share a special day with close family to vow their love and begin the next wonderful chapter of their lives... together.

They still laugh every day, work together to find lasting happiness, push each other to grow and become better versions of themselves and are, always, each other's best friends. They look forward to many years together growing closer and building new memories and dreams.
