Tiffany & Brandon

How We Met

Brandon and Tiffany's first contact occurred on a free dating website, where they began the romantic process of feeling out whether or not the other was a serial killer. Cordial and zero red flags, they decided to transform their conversations from computer text to actual spoken words at a small coffee shop in Old Town Elliott City on Sunday, October 17, 2015. From that first date on, they spent each and every weekend together; doing everything from wine tastings, road trips, Breaking Bad marathons and watching Brandon athletically almost fracture both of his legs while attempting to ice skate. The Queen of Concrete from Tennessee and the TV Production funny guy from Maryland are so madly in love and will be until the end of time!

How He Proposed

Brandon must've checked his backpack about 500 times. The ring was hiding in its depths during the 4 hour drive to a bed and breakfast in Hot Springs, Virginia, a belated birthday trip for Tiffany. Carrying a healthy mix of anxiety, nervousness and excitement, he noticed a very scenic overlook as they got close to the establishment. After checking in, Brandon suggested they go back and check it out. When they pulled up, Tiffany was on the phone scheduling an activity for the trip while Brandon hid the ring, box and all, in his front pocket. They crept toward the end of the overlook and while Tiffany was in the midst of multitasking, as she often does, Brandon got down on one knee. She turned around and it hit her; Brandon was going to ask her to be his wife. Tears of joy (or at least Brandon had hoped they were) overcame her as she managed to let out an "Of course, yes!" Other excited tourists surrounded them and the newly engaged couple gazed at the beautiful mountainous view and at her ring, both at the same time.

2 Weddings

Tiffany is Laotian and Buddhist while Brandon is Jewish. To show respect and appreciation to both religions and cultures, Bran + Tiff will be hosting 2 Weddings! The Laotian wedding in TN is a larger Buddhist ceremony and reception, while the Jewish wedding in MD is a smaller, more intimate event with limited invitations. We hope that you will understand one wedding is not more important than the other and attending both weddings is not mandatory.

Wedding Hashtag

Brandon was tasked with coming up with a perfect hashtag all of our friends and family can use to share photos. Please use #afischcaughtatiff if you post on social media :)!
