In the fall of 2018, Josiah moved down from Illinois and Tiffany up from Florida, meeting in the middle to begin school at Boyce College and Southern Seminary, in Louisville, Kentucky. It was on this campus where we met for the first time while grabbing some food between classes.

Over the course of 4 years, we stayed close due to our shared core of friends. Whether spending time enjoying bonfires, burning gas discovering new places, or enduring the mundanity of school-work, we were often together. While there were ups and downs, what was clear between us was the potentiality for our friendship to grow into something more. The timing was just not quite right until….

December 4th, 2022. Josiah surprised Tiffany on a first date. Five amazing, growing, anticipatory months later, Josiah set his heart on buying a ring.

While celebrating our 6-month dating anniversary, Josiah spoke those famous words to Tiffany on June 4th, 2023, at our favorite spot in Long Run Park. After several moments of shock followed by “Are you serious?”, Tiffany happily said yes and the night ended in a sweet time of celebrating our engagement with our close friends and family.
