There is a truth of how Marshall and Tiffany met, and then there is THE TRUTH. A truth is, it was love at first sight. An instant connection of two people who were both on the verge of giving up on an existence of true love or a lifetime of intimate happiness. And then...there is the truth. Their connection began without the physical component. In other words, THEY MET OVER THE PHONE! A chance encounter at 11 pm the night of May 22, 2012, became a conversation until almost 7 am the next morning. The conversations went on for almost two weeks before they made the decision to meet, June 2, 2012. Within months, the couple fell in love. Of course, who was first to admit it depends on who you ask! (and so does the truth of how they met.)

Just two months into the relationship, Marshall took Tiffany back to where it all began. Their first date was a walk in Forest Park in St. Louis. It was also here the couple shared a first kiss. Marshall recreated this moment, but this time on one knee with ring in hand! Tiffany, of course said yes! The couple set a date, and the planning began. But, just a year later...life happened.

The couple experienced the worst of times. Loss of jobs, financial struggles, Tiffany was still grieving the loss of her mother just 8 months prior to the couple meeting to name a few. The couple struggled with maintaining love in the midst, and fell short. They split, and the engagement was called off. Tiffany relocated out of state, accepting a job opportunity. Marshall never gave up. He pursued, even in distance. The couple reunited two years later, in 2015 and love was reignited. In May 2016, 4 years to the date of that chance phone meeting, Marshall popped the question again. This time, the couple is determined not even life will stop them!
