Our love story wasn’t out of a fairytale book. It wasn’t even love at first sight but our story is one that is real and true. We met at work(Ford Motor Co) working on the same assembly line for an entire year without saying one single word to one another. What Larry and I call fate, one day our supervisor assigned us to do a job together which created a forever friendship. While working the graveyard shifts, we became each other’s motivation by talking, joking and laughing. 

Two months later, Larry asked me out to dinner which I responded by saying “sure I’ll ask Carmen(MOH) and he said “Now why would you do that?” That moment I knew Larry wanted to be more than friends. The first couple of years we spent a lot of time together getting to know one another by talking, dating, traveling and meeting each other’s family and friends.

After making our relationship official we blended our families together. We both share the same love for each other’s families. Before my Mom and Granny passed they gave me their blessings to be with Larry. One of my Granny’s dying words to Larry was “Make sure you take care of my baby” and he hasn’t let her down.
We have grown so much individually and as a couple. We knew early on we were put together by God. We are truly best friends. We are no means perfect but perfect for one another. We are each other’s biggest fans, biggest supporters and biggest cheerleaders. 


One thing we do no matter what, is ALWAYS show up for one another. There’s no question of the love we have and share for each other. Together we are TEAM WILBORN💪🏼❤️
