Timmy and Kelly searched long and hard , and eventually swiped right on each other on the dating app Tinder in June 2020. Yes, Kelly did message first with a good old “Hey” . They ended up exchanging Snapchat usernames and talked online for about 2 weeks before they met in person. Finding out they lived 46 miles from each other they had to figure out what they were going to do in the height of Covid for their first date. They decided on the Drive-In movie theatre in Mansfield, CT. Timmy drove an hour to pick Kelly up, then they drove an hour to Mansfield. They went to a few outdoor bars before going over to the movie theatre. The movie was “The Hangover.” After , Timmy drove Kelly and hour back to Wallingford, and the an hour home. When they were saying goodbye Kelly hugged Timmy and asked him to not “ghost” her after this date. And he listened, by the following weekend they were in a relationship. Driving back and forth from Suffield to Wallingford for 3 1/2 years , Timmy and Kelly knew they wanted to be together forever. January 2024 they moved into their house in Suffield, and a week later they welcomed their fur baby Frodo! 11 months later they purchased the house and Timmy got on one knee !
