Katie and Timmy met at Kingsway Christian School in fourth grade. Katie had a MAJOR crush on the new boy in her grade, Timmy Brown. She never got the nerve to talk to him that year, but they were friendly throughout middle school.

Freshman year of high school, Timmy attended Danville and Katie went to Tri-West. They were the only two from their class at Kingsway not to attend high school with another classmate, so they stayed in touch.

Junior year, Katie was completing her schooling online but wanted to go to prom. Timmy asked her to the dance, but just as friends. But as fate would have it, Katie and Timmy decided their first date would be prom, at Dallara IndyCar Factory in Speedway. Timmy picked Katie up in his grandpa's 1993 Corvette.

From there the two have enjoyed many school dances, rodeos, quad races, concerts, and adventures. God has blessed them in their journey together and they continue to look forward to what He has in store for them!
