Bhasker and Laju

Bhasker and Laju tied the knot on March 1, 1993, in Kathmandu, Nepal, but their love story began long before that.

Laju, born in Kathmandu but raised in Germany, crisscrossed Europe, India, and the U.S. for her studies before returning to Nepal. Bhasker, meanwhile, stayed rooted in Kathmandu, initially chasing dreams of soccer stardom before taking a detour to Russia to earn his medical degree. When they crossed paths in Nepal, sparks flew. After their wedding, they packed up and migrated to Australia in 1998. The rest, as they say, is history.

These days, Bhasker still holds onto his love for soccer, spends his free time cycling, and spoils their dog, Yogi, like royalty. Laju, on the other hand, has become the queen of extravagant family meals and balances it out with meditation and a good book

What was your impression of Tim?

He is gentle, kind hearted and always willing to do the dishes. We knew he would be perfect for Tessa.

Chris and Kerry

Chris and Kerry tied the knot on March 11, 1989, in Melbourne, Australia. Their love story began back when they were teenagers, meeting in a church youth group in the beautiful Yarra Valley. They later embarked on an adventure to Zimbabwe, where they lived, fell in love with the culture, and created lifelong memories. After returning to Australia, they settled down to raise a family.

These days, they enjoy spending time in the garden, caring for their dog Rusty, and being active in their faith community.
