Our Wedding

On a cold lonesome night, Timothy decided to scroll through Match.com to see if he could find someone to split the heating bill with. He couldn't help but noticed this young beautiful woman. He swiped right, put on some extra layers and waited anxiously. After reluctantly signing up for dating site, Mao decided to give love one last shot. Free meals sounded better than burnt toast and cereal. So she sifted through Match.com and found this young handsome man and swiped right. Unbeknownst to them, they MATCHED! Their first date was no other than Valentine's day, no big deal right? Wrong! With nothing to lose besides electricity bill and cold foods, they took a chance since they both were single with no plans. But it almost ended badly that freezing cold Valentine's night. Because Mao's sister thought about calling the police when Mao didn't answer her phone and she was out passed closing time. Then, Tim's car alarm wouldn't stop going off when they were planning to leave the restaurant. So the police thought they were carjacking. For a moment there, the cold lonesome nights, burnt toasts and cereal sounded a little bit better. Thankfully, it all worked out where Tim got his car alarm to stop going off and Mao called to tell her sister she was safe. Date after date, their friendship grew and they started to fall for each other. After 6 memorable years, a precious little girl and a beautiful home, they decided to permanently split the heating bill, cook good foods together and get marry!

Met Adam in the second grade while still fresh to the area. From there it was history, growing up doing kid things from: biking around town, fishing down at the bridge, late nights gaming consuming gallons of pop and everything else under the sun and moon. There was never a dull moment from the time we met till now, always been full of laughter and great moments. Adam is a stand up trustworthy, respectable guy and inspirational to me in many ways. He is a fierce as grizzly bear and as hug-able as teddy bear. Always laugh when thinking when I thought it was you who whipped me in the eye while airing out the Death Star aftermath!

Adam Gertken

Elder brother. Growing up with Josh I know him best by his strong morals and values. His love for variety of music listened to ranging from Bob Marley to Ozzy. He inspired me to be more proficient in cooking. A devoted father and family man. Enjoyed growing up to see what you always were up to with your many interests. He is best known for his dance moves.

Josh Storz

A Rockstar in book. My second eldest brother Gabe has been very influential on my life on being independent, hardworking, caring, strong and helpful. A devoted person to whatever he does and does it well.  Enjoyed that time tubing on the boat with the guys... "Can you fetch me another beer Steve?!" His best talent is behind Mic singing on stage.

Gabe Storz

My last eldest brother and a nerd by trade, but always a conversation with some insights always to be had. Daniel is the quick witted brother and knows a lot on a lot of topics. Self made and has a generous heart. Always makes the best of what he has and more. Great times living together and growing up sharing a bunk. His best talent is lyrical and melodic memory- he can recite songs word by word with only listening to it once. Glad you recovered your Super Mario RPG!

Daniel Storz

One of the best brother in laws I could ask for! Knew Bob since the beginning of my sister and his relationship. He has always been a jokester, open to many people and things and made things light hearted. Always chill and relaxed... except that one time at Roadhouse! (that was but it was quite an adventure!)

Bob Linn

Tou has been there from the start of Mao and I. The one of many brothers who welcomed me in and showed me a different but wonderful side of life. Devoted man to his family and always looking for adventure and having a great time. Best known for his quotes... "When a fish fried, flip it!"

Tou Vang

When i first seen how his name was really spelt i was in awe. It is pronounced as Chu, but spelt Tswb. So in case your the the same boat as I am that might help by seeing this. Been blessed to meet Tswb as i met him on a day trap shooting with the family. From there it was trips to Texas to him coming up and us hanging out. A hardworking indiviudal whos dedicated to his wife and kids. He has the southern charm and generosity. He has showed me that of many values. Always get cracked (Laughs) up while hanging out, especially at your daughters blessing!

Tswb Lo

Triple F for life! Met Jason while working at the local gas station and going to college. Late nights and adventures from 5am playing Broderlands to up north camping, and times with Fossil and riding party buses with driver double fisting beers. Always saw bigger picture of things and a bunch of laughter along the way! I wanted the recliner anyway!

Jason Donabauer 

From growing up to playing little league and now parents, Tim has always remained consistent to his values and morals. Goofball and adventurer by trade he always knew to be responsible in the process. Hardworking family man who is always there when in need. Still cant get over the fact there was a can of mace busted out in the childrens area of McDonalds. Feel bad for them kids!

Tim Reichert

Emily and Mao met in 2005 as roommates at the College of St. Scholastica. They've seen it all together from full moons to new beginning of chapters in life.

Fun fact: Emily never saw the green fairy and outdrank the men. When in Rome...

Emily Machones

Gao and Mao met in 1989 after Mao kicked her out of their mother's womb. As little girls, Gao and Mao used to sleep together with their hands in each other's necklace to not separate at night. Ever since, she's become her big younger protector, we mean sister.

Fun Fact: Gao taught Mao how to sneak out of the house.

Gao Vang

Gao Nou and Mao met in 1990 when she became the 5th daughter. From there, they became paintball buddies and shot their way through life. However, they lost touched and became reunited 10 years ago when Gao Nou remembered her family.

Fun Fact: Gao Nou was a cheerleader even though she didn't like sport.

Gao Nou Vang

Hlee and Mao met in 1991 when she became the 6th daughter. Despite being younger, she is always up for a wildly beautiful adventure!

Fun Fact: Hlee was a star basketball player in highschool!

Hlee Vang

Chee and Mao met in 1995 when she became the last born daughter. Despite being the youngest, she was the first to become a mom and paved the way for the rest of us.

Fun Fact: Chee is a recording artist who loves to sing!

Chee Vang

Kayla, Tim's best and favorite sister and Mao met in 2019. She quickly took Mao under her wings and showed her what a masters degree in determination looks like.

Fun Fact: Kayla will be Mao's green lady at the Hmong wedding!
