We have sent out invitations so RSVP’s are coming in quickly! But if arrangements are taking a bit longer than you had hoped to make it for our big day then the last day to RSVP by is August 10th.
What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?
At The Venue at White Oaks Farm, there is plenty of parking for guests where you will have two options of getting to the ceremony; walking or the venue is providing a golf cart shuttle to and from your vehicles.
Will the wedding ceremony be inside or outside?
Our wedding ceremony will be outside as well as cocktail hour. This will be in September in the Carolinas so keep in mind it may be hot so dress appropriately!
What is the dress code?
We have asked everyone invited to the wedding to be in summer formal. For ladies, this will mean a summer dress or skirt. For gentlemen, this will mean dress pants and a nice button down shirt of any kind.
Are there any particular colors to wear to the wedding?
The most obvious color to avoid wearing the day of the wedding is white. However we do highly recommend guests wearing bright and colorful clothing as this is a summer wedding!
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
We are so excited to see all of our friends and family on our big day! However, we have invited everyone we would like to attend our wedding and that will be on your RSVP. If you do not see a guests name, we kindly ask for you not to bring them due to final catering guest count.
What time should I arrive to the wedding?
The ceremony is to start at 4:30 pm. With this being in mind, you will have to park and walk/shuttle to where the ceremony is being held. We highly recommend guests showing up 15-30 minutes early to the wedding venue.
What will happen to guests during cocktail hour?
While the bridal party and desired family members all go to take pictures, the guests will be treated to specialized non-alcoholic cocktails and charcuterie cups to snack on. There will also be outdoor games that can be utilized such as corn hole, horseshoes, and life-sized tic-tac-toe.
Am I allowed to take photos during the wedding ceremony?
Although we do believe everyone should have the ability to take pictures, we ask all guests to take their photos before the ceremony begins or to take them during cocktail hour. During the wedding ceremony, there will be professional photographers and videographers attending to capture our special day so we ask that this be an unplugged ceremony for all guests so you can enjoy this beautiful time in the moment.
