Tim's versionAnna and I met my sophomore year at Missouri State University. Her and some of her friends came to my dorm to watch the chiefs lose a football game, but I guess the back of my head was attractive enough to catch her attention. I now realize that she was probably checking out my haircut to see what the barber had messed up and what she could do better.Anyway, we started to hang out and even with a couple swerved kisses and worries she had about moving too fast, my persistence paid off and we’ve been going ever since.She had the wedding date picked out since January of 2024, but I finally got around to proposing on August 10th in Chicago. The proposal was just like the start of our relationship; a couple bumps and misread cues but perfect for who we are. We’re so thankful to all of you for your support along our journey and are so exited to celebrate with you guys on our day! Anna's versionIt all started with a Chiefs game and a cowboy hat.Back in 2022, I was invited to a dorm room watch party for the Chiefs vs. Bengals playoff game (yes, the one where the Chiefs lost). I didn’t know many people there, but I ended up sitting behind this guy—who, unlike everyone else, was actually paying attention to the game. I spent most of it staring at the back of his head... but between his focus on the game and a cowboy hat and protein powder on his shelf, he seemed pretty cool.The next day, I told a mutual friend that her friend (aka the guy with the hat) was FINEEEEE—and of course, she let him know. I got Tim on snapchat, but I made him make the first move from then on. Our first official date was to see The Batman, and somewhere between Gotham City and Casey’s gas station (where I first told him I loved him while pumping gas—real romance), we both realized this was something special.Fast forward three years, and Tim proposed on a trip to Chicago (you’ll have to ask him for the full story—it’s a good one). But from early on, we both had that gut feeling: this is my person.Now, here we are—getting married, surrounded by all the people we love. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Towns NearbyHere are a few options nearby and please do not hesitate to reach out if you need any help! Moberly is halfway between Salisbury and Columbia. It is roughly 20 minutes away from the venue. The Comfort Inn &amp; Suites is the only hotel but there are a couple Air BnB options. Huntsville&nbsp;is 15 minutes east of Salisbury with some Air BnB options as well. Glasgow is 15 minutes southwest of Salisbury with some Air BnB options as well. It is a cute river town with great places for brunch before you make the trip home on Sunday.
