Levi and Tina’s story began in the most unexpected way—virtually, during the global shutdown of 2020. While the world paused, a mutual friend decided to play matchmaker. He had been trying to convince Tina to let him give Levi her number, but there was one small complication: Levi wasn’t just in another state; he was in another country, deployed in Afghanistan with the Air Force.

After some persistence, Tina finally agreed. A few weeks later, her phone buzzed with a message: “Hey, this is Levi, Jake’s friend.” What started as a simple text quickly turned into endless conversations, and soon, FaceTime became their go-to.

As the virtual conversations continued, it was clear to both of them that something truly special was unfolding—a connection that defied distance, circumstances, and logic.

When Levi returned stateside in July 2020, he was transitioning to his new life in Utah. For Tina, this meant flying to Florida in the middle of a pandemic to meet the man she had fallen for through a screen. Crazy? Maybe. Love? Absolutely. From the moment she stepped off the plane, there was no question—this was it.

They didn’t waste any time putting their relationship to the test, embarking on an epic road trip from Florida to Utah.

While most would hesitate at the idea of being confined in a car for days with someone they’d just met in person, it felt natural, effortless—like they’d known each other forever, not just four months.

Fast forward to April 2024: four incredible years filled with adventure, growth, and countless memories. From hiking and backpacking to building Legos and becoming proud cat parents to Binks, Levi and Tina navigated life’s highs and lows together.

2024 was their most challenging year yet, but it also brought them closer than ever. Just when Tina thought the year couldn’t end on a joyful note after losing her dad, Levi proved her wrong with a heartfelt proposal on December 23rd.

From their first text to their first hug and kiss, to today, it has always been Levi and Tina.
