What is the dress code?

While we do not enjoy telling people what to wear, the dress code will be formal - for men that will mean suit and tie, and for women, floor length or cocktail dresses. But please make sure your shoes are comfortable, because we want you all to dance and party. Woohoo!

ARE THERE ACCOMMODATIONS?

Yes, we have a group of rooms booked at the Hampton Inn by Hilton and the rooms will be available for booking until September 27, 2024, under the group rate (see accommodations tab above) and more detail below: Block Rate: $169.00 plus 13% HST, and 4% Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) Includes Breakfast & Wi-Fi Individual Cancellation Policy: 48 Hours Room Types offered: Two Queen beds – One King bed with double sofa bed – One King Bed Hotel Amenities: 24 hour fitness room, indoor heated pool 6:00am-10:00pm, coin operated guest laundry room, 24 hour treats shop and complimentary coffee/tea in lobby, wi-fi, mini fridge, microwave and coffee machines in all guestrooms. Buffet Breakfast offerings 7:00am-10:00am: coffee, tea, assorted juices, assorted yogurts, dry cereals, make your own waffles, bagels, breads, assorted jams/peanut butter/cream cheese, muffins, breakfast breads, bacon or sausage, potato pancakes, eggs – assorted. Parking: $15.00 plus taxes, covered parking garage with 6”2” height restriction. The rate is: $169.00 plus 13% HST, and 4% Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT). This includes Breakfast.

WILL THERE BE TRANSPORTATION?

There will be a shuttle going from the hotel to the venue (and back). Details on the shuttle will be provided in advance of the wedding, once the number of guests at the hotel has been finalized. Otherwise, we recommend using Uber, Lyft, Taxis, etc. There is also parking available at the venue, and you can pick your vehicle up the next morning by 10 am. No drinking and driving please!

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?

While we love your kids, this will be an adult only event. It's hard to party with babies.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Please arrive at 4:00 pm if you want to see us exchange vows and hopefully, James cry. The ceremony starts at 4:30 pm (outside, weather permitting), with a cocktail hour to follow at 5 pm, and then dinner and partying! Woohoo!

IS THERE A REGISTRY?

No, but if you are interested in giving us a gift in addition to your wonderful presence, a monetary gift is more than appreciated.
