Our love story began in the most modern of ways - a chance encounter on a dating app. Tina, with her enchanting charm, had me captivated from the very first message. She shared a tale of her adventures on the site, a story filled with suspense and laughter, ensuring I was indeed a real person and not a digital phantom.
Our first meeting in person was on a day forever etched in my heart, March 12th, 2021. I embarked on a journey from Dothan, Alabama to Atlanta, a long drive that was worth every mile. As I met Tina, her radiant smile and captivating beauty swept away my exhaustion, while her vibrant personality comforted my soul. It felt as if we had known each other for a lifetime.
From that first date to this very day, my love for Tina has blossomed. When she’s not by my side, I feel a part of me is missing - we are like two peas in a pod. We may have our differences, but with faith at the center of our relationship, we grow through them, becoming closer with each passing day.
The weeks leading up to my proposal were filled with anticipation and secrecy. I wanted to create a moment as unique as our love. After meticulous planning, I arranged for a hot air balloon ride. Keeping my plans under wraps was a challenge, but Tina was none the wiser.
As we arrived at the launch site, a parking lot in the middle of nowhere, Tina was in awe of the gigantic balloon awaiting us. Yet, she had no idea of the surprise I had in store. As we ascended into the sky, the setting sun painted a breathtaking backdrop. Twenty minutes into our flight, I seized the moment. I knelt and asked Tina, the love of my life, to marry me.
Her joyous “YES” and our ensuing embrace was a moment of pure bliss. I eagerly anticipate a lifetime of love and companionship with my soulmate.
Love, Rick
P.S. Our balloon ride, intended to last an hour, stretched to almost three due to the pilot’s difficulty in finding a suitable landing spot. But, as always, we were guided safely back to earth. This unexpected twist only added to the magic of our unforgettable day.
