Our Wedding

Tina and Romulo’s story began in Sacramento in summer of 2019. They matched on Bumble, where Tina was charmed by Romulo's profile picture of him smiling a suit. Romulo grew interest with Tina's profile pictures of San Francisco Giants and Disneyland. (He’s a big fan.)&nbsp; Their first date was at Tiger in Downtown Sacramento, and it was a hit! They quickly discovered they had many shared goals, interests, and experiences, making the night a memorable one. Six months later, after much anticipation, Romulo finally gathered the courage to ask Tina to be his girlfriend. He did so at DOCO, the same area where they had their first date, and invited her to his friend's wedding as his girlfriend. Without hesitation, Tina said yes. Just a month after making their relationship official, Romulo relocated from his old apartment to a friend’s house in Elk Grove—coincidentally, only three minutes away from Tina’s home. It seemed like fate had brought them closer together. Then the pandemic hit, but instead of drifting apart, they grew even closer, both with each other and their friends and family. When the world began to open up, they created countless memories together—cheering at Giants, Warriors, and 49ers games, enjoying Sammy Johnson and Kolohe Kai concerts, exploring Disneyland and LA, and going on foodie adventures. They fell in love, bonded with each other's families and friends, and even became proud dog parents to Bruno. As their love deepened and they spent more meaningful time together, they realized they were truly meant for each other. So, in December 2023, Romulo proposed to Tina, asking her to "Ring in the New Year” with him. Tina happily said yes, and now their journey towards forever begins! They’re beyond excited to start this next chapter and can’t wait to celebrate their love with all their favorite people.

My longest-lasting friend, I met Sarah in the 4th grade at Valley Vista Elementary in San Jose, and she has been by my side since day one. With her inviting nature, she’s always been eager to share the world and experiences with me (with Gilbert often as the third wheel). She consistently brings out the best in me, encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone and strive for more. It’s only fitting that she is my Maid of Honor.

I met Rich at Sac State as my pledge brother for Delta Sigma Pi. We bonded through camping, craft beer, EDC, new food spots, and our banter between the Warriors vs Kings. With my move from Vallejo to Sacramento in 2012, his welcoming and genuine friendship made an impact on me, eventually leading me to realize that Sacramento started to feel like home. Choosing Rich as my Best Man was a natural choice.

Richard Wan

My youngest sister, Angie, will always be a firecracker. Her determination and drive inspire me and bring out the best in me. Behind her teacher-like personality is a thoughtful and generous sister who keeps our family and siblings united.

Angeline Luong

My future brother-in-law! We quickly bonded through IT, tech, gaming, home repair, and random shenanigans. He’s also been incredibly supportive in welcoming me into the family and I’m very proud to call him my brother!

I met Lisa not too long ago, but our connection was immediate and quickly "adopted" her. Her youthful energy and enthusiasm are contagious, keeping me engaged on my toes! Her genuine nature makes our time together both meaningful and fun.

Ray (and his family!) has always been a cornerstone in my life. We met in middle school in Vallejo and bonded over drumline, Halo LAN parties till sunrise, and poker. We continued our journey through Sac State, focusing on fitness and future goals. With an arsenal of many puns and witty jokes, behind that humor is a man who is relentlessly positive and driven. Go Dubs!

Raymond Nubla

I met Kristina as one of Rome’s friends when I first started dating him in 2019. She quickly welcomed me into the new group of friends with open arms and made me feel right at home. Kristina is incredibly thoughtful towards her family and friends, and there’s never a dull moment when we hang out together.

I paired up with Harry at Delta Sigma Pi in Sac State for a mentorship, but instead we just quickly became brothers. We bonded through Hondas, sports, and Marvel movie premieres. No matter the circumstance, he consistently stays true to himself. I can always count on him to help me stay grounded whenever I need support.

My twin!  I met Nerissa in middle school and always paired up with each other through high school. Throughout the years, she’s consistently been a source of positivity in my life.
We’ve always been on the same wavelength, understanding each other without even saying a word.

Nerissa Ornelas

I met Christiaan as early as 6th grade in Vallejo, and over the years had memories from drumline, LAN parties, camping, and youth group. He’s been a ride-or-die friend since day one, but also a close family friend. When I moved to Sacramento in 2012, Christiaan became my first stable roommate, and we continued to bond over the Warriors and Frat' talk. His willingness to room with me during my college years helped me plant my roots in Sacramento.

My older sister, Linda, has always been a motherly figure to me as I grew up. She would cover for me to keep me out of trouble and has always had my back through thick and thin. She’s the sweetest person you’ll ever meet, but she’s also a fighter at heart.

I met Jordan when I was a high school freshman in Vallejo, and quickly became friends because of WWE, gaming, drumline, CalShakes, and youth group. He’s always been one phone call away when I need to hear a voice of reason, or when I need to talk wrestling. His charisma is unmatched!

Jordan Williams

Also my childhood friend from San Jose (and once a neighbor), Kim is a super mom with many talents. She has a remarkable ability to make everyone in her life feel special. No matter how busy we San Jose girls get, we always make sure to check in with each other.

Kim Vicente

One confident guy with a smile always on his face. I met Chris while pledging for Delta Sigma Pi at Sac State. He’s seen me through all the different ‘eras’ of my adult life, both good and bad. It’s only fitting that he’s our first choice to be the officiant at our wedding.

Honeymoon Fund

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. We do not have a traditional registry and your love and support are more than enough.
