We met online June 21st 2022. We communicated for a few hours and agreed to exchange phone numbers to plan a phone call. We talked over the phone two days in a row and Derrick asked me on a date at the end of our 2nd phone conversation. Fast forward to the date, he was early and waited for me in front of my house. We went to Dave & Busters where we talked over dinner and played games. ( He’s very competitive 👀) At the end of the date, he wanted to focus on getting to know me better and asked me in a 2nd date where we went to the Good N Tha Hood gathering. That evening I knew that I would be with him for the long haul. We have been together ever since that day. Our relationship has blossomed and is a beautiful reminder of God’s blessings when you wait on the lord. Derrick is a beautiful person inside/ out. He loves me dearly goes out of his way to make life comfortable and equally exciting. He’s a man of God who strives to honor God through his love for others. His has truly blessed us and I am excited to be marrying my best friend and love.
