Our Wedding

#SealedtheDealSheisaNeal ﻿One evening driving home in 2005, Mark and Tina were headed home from a busy day . They did not know one another . Both headed to get to the highway at Interstate 270 and West Florissant , waiting for the signal to turn, Mark looks over at Tina and does this really big cheesy smile. She looks and rolls her eyes. He then gets her attention again and motions for her to pull over. Surprisingly enough she does (only because that smile that Mark gives is an attention grabber for sure). He gets out and walks to her car. He compliments her glasses and asked if he could take her out to dinner . She gives him her number and they part ways. He calls that same night to arrange a dinner . A few days later he picks her up and takes her to Bailey 's Chocolate Bar. Excellent date and he was such a gentleman. They continued to see one another for about a month and then, Tina had some family issues come up that she needed to tend to and didn't feel it was a good idea to nurture the relationship so they both went on their way. They lost contact, but would see one another from time to time at a restaurant , a department store, just a quick hello in passing. July 2018, Tina was chatting on the phone with one of her friends. They were talking about random topics, then Tina made mention of Mark to the friend. The friend stated "Yea Tina , that was your honey" . Approximately three days later, Mark inboxed Tina "Hi, do you remember me"? She couldn't believe it. She responded "Yes, of course , I've never forgotten you! She proceeded to ask if he was married, he responded "NO!" He asked for the phone number. He called the very next day. They went on a date for a walk in Forest Park and have been together everyday since. Through ups and downs, highs and lows!! Traveling, partying, learning, and growing together, now they become one by bringing balance and allowing love to flow as a tandem. Thank you for joining us on our day. Seven Ali who is a PRE BLACK belt in Tae Kwaendo will definitely hold tight to the rings of the bride and groom. He takes his job seriously because he says he knows how important those rings are!

Kelsey or Kels as we call her is the muscle behind keeping Tina grounded. She along with Kirsten and Taylor  will definitely  critique this wedding so that it will be fabulous!!’

Ruth is one of Tina’s closest friends. They originally met at the “Mary’s” the ghetto name for St. Mary’s hospital as nurses working 5th Floor/Mother Baby night shift. They reconnected and started doing what others would call weird shit…like meditation, singing bowls, reiki, crystals…you know!

Marla has been one of Tina’s best friends since they were probably 19 or so! They met through a woman who mentored them both and were instantly like sisters!!

Julie and Tina became sisters in nursing school! Literally, shared groceries, rides and everything to make sure they successfully made their goal.  If y’all really ready to party just know Julessss stays on ten!!🥰🤣

Dorian is Tina’s middle big brother! She and he are like peas in a pod. He will stand in place of their father to “give her away”.
