Tina moved to Denver in April 2023 after having lived in D.C for three and a half years. Coincidentally, Nick moved to Denver the same exact week from upstate New York. Tina and Nick loved attending the Traditional Latin Mass, so it was a no brainer for both of them to check out Our Lady of Mount Carmel for Holy Thursday Mass that week. They both walked in at the same time, and the usher sat them next to each other in the same pew. Tina of course was thinking the whole time about the cute boy she was sitting next to and planning her introduction to him for after Mass. Nick also thought about the cute girl he was sitting next to, but when mass was done, Nick hurried out of the church and Tina did not introduce herself. Afterward, she sent a voice note to her friend explaining the situation that she was kicking herself for not saying anything. Her friend replied back that she should be focused on the Mass anyway and maybe she’d see him again soon. Come to find out, Nick also texted his friend about the beautiful woman he sat next to at church, lamenting the fact that he didn’t introduce himself either.

They didn’t see each other for months until Tina noticed him at a party in July as the cute boy she sat next to a few months prior. She went up to him and they talked the entire night. From there, they went on a few hikes in groups and Nick eventually asked her on a date in October. The rest is history!
