Our Wedding

We met online dating (as everyone seems to nowadays) back in August of 2022. Our distances must have been set to 100 miles because otherwise, how could we have found someone in Derry from Waltham and vice versa? After a few days of chatting online, we scheduled a casual drinks date at Mighty Squirrel in Waltham, and we have been inseparable ever since! Besides the year-long deployment, that is. Shortly after we first started dating, Logan found out he was going to be deployed to the middle east for a year, leaving us with an incredibly difficult decision. We ended up deciding to stay together and try to work the long distance, despite only having dated for a couple months by then. We had to put in the hard work of skipping the honeymoon stage and asking the hard questions, trying to figure out if this was worth trying to maintain for a year apart. It was honestly a no brainer. As soon as he said the words "deployment" I was immediately in tears and knew I would be waiting. The deployment was one of the hardest things we've ever done but we are so much stronger for it, I think it is a huge reason that we are together and doing so well today. We don't take a single second with each other for granted
