What should I wear?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. We will have a brief ceremony outdoors, so we would like you to be as cool and comfortable as possible during this segment of the evening.
Can I bring a plus 1/children?
We cherish your little ones and loved ones, however, we have a tight guest list, and we’ve had to keep the kids and plus 1s to only a few. Please be sure to check the name(s) on the invite to see if the person in question is already invited and on our guest list.
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
15 minutes prior to the start is sufficient enough. CayMas carnival is taking place on the same day so depending on where you’re driving from, please consider road closures and traffic on the journey.
Will food be served after the ceremony?
We will have a cocktail hour with finger foods served after the ceremony, followed by a plated dinner during the reception. Given the timeline, we expect dinner to start being served by 7pm.
Will drinks be served?
We will offer a generous open bar, up to a specified value, for drinks served during cocktail hour and the reception. If and when the limit is almost met, servers will notify guests. Thereafter, we will have a cash bar option. We kindly ask anyone who would like to overindulge in alcoholic beverages to please ensure you have a designated driver home, as we sincerely care about everyone’s safety.
Where do I sit at the reception?
We will have a list of a seating plan with your name and table number in the flamingo room where the cocktail hour is held.
IS THERE A WEDDING REGISTRY I CAN SHOP FROM?
We have not set up a wedding registry. Your presence means more than your presents. However, for those wishing to gift the bride and groom, a monetary donation towards our honeymoon or future will be greatly appreciated. There will be a box for cards/envelopes at the venue.
Can I take videos or photos?
This does not bother us. We do however, invite you to be as engaged as possible during the ceremony with minimal use of electronics/cameras. During the cocktail hour and reception please feel free to use cameras for photos and videos. We kindly invite you to share these photos and videos with us.
I’M TRAVELING FROM OVERSEAS FOR THE WEDDING, WHERE SHOULD I STAY?
There is a carnival called CayMas happening on the day of the wedding, and there will be road closures between the waterfront in George Town and Seven Mile Public Beach, so we strongly suggest any AirBnB, condo, or villa outside of this area. Governors Village off of Esterley Tibbetts Highway may be a great option for you.
