Our Wedding

<p>We first knew <em>of</em> each other back in 2016, but at the time, we were both in different relationships and life had us on separate paths. Fast forward to 2019; we were both single, living life, and happened to be on the same dating app. One swipe right was all it took... and the rest is history. From that moment on, everything started falling into place, and here we are, getting ready to say "I do" surrounded by the people we love.</p>

Angelina and  the Bride have been close friends ever since their very first adventure together in Türkiye. From exploring Kyrgyzstan to their most recent journey through India, their friendship has been filled with unforgettable memories, deep conversations, and a lot of laughter. Angelina brings joy wherever she goes , she loves singing, hiking, and never misses a good Trader Joe’s run. I’m so grateful to have her by my side on this special day!



Angelina Sainez

The Bride and Cierra met back in 2020 at St. Paul, and ever since then, they’ve grown to be not only really good friends but also true sisters. Cierra has a love for singing, poetry, fashion, and makeup. She has played a pivotal role in the Bride’s spiritual journey praying with her, encouraging her, and standing alongside her in the spiritual realm. The Bride is incredibly grateful and ecstatic to have Cierra by her side as a Bridesmaid.

The Bride and Lily go way back all the way to high school. Back then, they weren’t in the same circle or super close, but there was always a sweet friendship between them. Life has a funny way of weaving people together over time, and after college, their connection truly began to blossom. What started as snapping each other to go out and have fun slowly transformed into deep, meaningful conversations about faith, church, and favorite scriptures. It’s been such a beautiful journey of growing together, both spiritually and as women.Watching each other evolve from wide-eyed 18-year-old high school girls into the strong, faith-filled women they are today has been nothing short of special. Through every season, Lily has become one of the Bride’s closest and dearest friends someone who means the absolute world to her. Lily is as sweet as she is stylish. She loves reading a good book, experimenting with makeup looks, and traveling to new places with a heart full of adventure. Having her as a Bridesmaid is such a joy and a full-circle moment that the Bride cherishes deeply. Sharing this celebration with Lily by her side is truly the icing on the cake!

Lily Lee

The Bride and Charlyne , known each other since 2021. They  both met at Chi Alpha. The first time they interacted one another  was at the Father of Hearts seminar where we cried for hours about growing pains spiritually,  and physically with our own fathers and with the Lord. But it wasn't until we both were on the worship team where our friendship grew and our relationship grew as sisters and we also became core group leaders together. That's where we started to thrive in our friendship and then now I'm getting married and our friendship is even better. Charlyne enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys singing. She enjoys African dramas.

Charlyne Addai- Poku

The Bride and Emmia may have only met last year, but from the very beginning, there was an undeniable connection like kindred spirits who were meant to find one another. Though their friendship is still fresh, it has blossomed into something deep, genuine, and filled with joy. Emmia has quickly become such a beautiful and meaningful part of the Bride’s life, offering unwavering support, laughter, and love during one of the most special seasons of her journey.In such a short amount of time, Emmia has shown up for the Bride in ways that speak volumes proving that it’s not always about how long you’ve known someone, but how deeply you connect. She brings a fun and fabulous energy wherever she goes, with her love for shopping, makeup, music, cars, and traveling. Her vibrant personality and warm heart have added so much light and excitement to this chapter, and the Bride is beyond blessed and thrilled to have Emmia standing by her side as a Bridesmaid.

Emmia Limones 

Cai and the Bride first met through Chi Alpha, but it was during our trip to Kyrgyzstan, and specifically during a 10–13 hour cry-fest at the Father of Hearts seminar that our friendship was truly sealed. Since then, Cai has been a constant source of encouragement, laughter, and bold faith in my life. She’s passionate about running, lifting, diving into the Word, evangelizing, and spending quality time with friends. I’m so thankful to have her walking with me in life and standing with me on our big day!



Cailah Edwards

Carmesha and the Bride  have an interesting history, They first crossed paths sometime between 2016 and when the Bride had just started coming Saint Paul . Ariana was invited to an event and ended up inside Carmesha and her sister Trezanas house,  without even knowing who she was at the time! We even have a photo together from back then where I’m standing right next to her and her sister… and had no idea who they were. It wasn’t until 2020, when the world shut down and we ended up in the same small group, that we truly got to know each other. She later invited me to Chi Alpha, and from there, our friendship really grew. We even found out we went to the same elementary school , it feels like our friendship was always meant to be. I’m so grateful to have her standing with me as a sister on my special day.

Carmesha Grayson 

have one of those unexpected, sweet connections that life surprises you with. Their paths crossed in the most modern of ways—through the Bride’s husband and Phi’s husband, Joe, who all originally met through Xbox (yes, Xbox!). While the Bride and Phi haven’t spent much time together yet, the few conversations they’ve shared have already shown what a kind, warm, and beautiful soul Phi is. Through shared friends and stories, a lovely friendship has begun to bloom. Phi is someone who radiates peace and joy. She has a passion for planting, a love for cooking, and a heart that treasures quality time with her children and family. Her gentle spirit and nurturing energy are truly inspiring, and the Bride is so looking forward to many more laughs, memories, and moments together. Even though their journey is just beginning, the Bride is genuinely excited to grow closer to Phi over the years—and can’t wait to hug her in December and celebrate this special season side by side!

My best man, my road dog, my brother. From hooping and laughing to getting into some wild adventures, we’ve been through it all and seen each other through life’s ups and downs. No matter where life takes him (currently Houston), Sacramento will always miss you, playa.



Tyler Mcclure 

My “little” brother who’s taller than me and likes to act like he’s the big bro. Rod’s the kind of guy who’ll pray for you without being asked , and those prayers have carried me more than he knows. We roast each other constantly, but the love is real.



Roderick Stewart

My younger cousin and lifelong teammate in both sports and life. We grew up together, competing, laughing, and watching each other become the men we are today. Oakland might have him now, but he’s still one of my closest people and a sharp-minded brother.

Blake Brown

We met freshman year of high school through Tyler and clicked instantly. From making music and shooting videos to having each other’s backs no matter what, he’s been one of my closest brothers for years.

Misster Chapel

My cousin who didn’t officially become my partner-in-crime until we were about 11 or 12. Ever since, it’s been non-stop jokes, chill sessions, and good times. He’s the fun-loving cousin who can make any moment better. 

John Lymas

Believe it or not, I met Joe through NBA 2K8. One random online game turned into a real friendship that connected Harlem, NY, and Sacramento, CA forever. He’s like a big brother to me  always showing love and giving advice  and I’m grateful he’s here to celebrate my big day.



Joseph Philbert Jr.

My younger cousin who’s more like a little brother. I’ve watched him grow up, and he’s watched me grow into who I am now. He inspires me and reminds me why I go so hard for my family every single day.

Isaiah Williams

Misster’s older brother, but also my big brother. He’s been there in times of grief, in moments of celebration, and in countless conversations about life, love, and manhood. The wisdom he’s got? You’d think he was King Solomon himself.



Michael Gaines

My big brother in both music and life. DB went from being my producer to one of my closest friends, always pushing me to believe in myself and go further than I thought possible. When I need motivation, I know where to go.
