Are children allowed?
While we love your little ones, we kindly request an adults-only wedding weekend. We thank you for understanding and look forward to having you fully present during the wedding!
Is Sayulita safe to travel to?
Sayulita is generally considered to be a safe destination for tourists. As with any travel, taking basic safety precautions is important, but you don't have anything to worry about.
Will I need a passport to travel to Sayulita?
Yes! Your passport will be one of the most important things you pack. Ensure that your passport is not expiring within 6 months of January 2025, as your airline will not accept this upon checking in for your flight (if your passport expires June 2025 or earlier, it will not be accepted). If you do not have a passport, the standard processing time is six weeks. However, we recommend giving yourself at least four months to get a passport in case of any delays.
What is the weather like in Sayulita in January?
Average January temperatures in Sayulita average 80F highs with sunny, dry days and cool evenings, around 62F. If you are used to a warm climate, you may need a light sweater or long sleeves at night, but most people from colder climates find the temperatures at night quite nice.
What else do I need to pack?
We recommend packing sunscreen, beachwear/swimwear, personal toiletries/medications, lightweight jacket, casual outfits, walking shoes, flip flops/sandals, hat, sunglasses, water bottle, chargers, at least one active wear outfit, and anything else you might need!
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place outside.
How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?
Sayulita is a very small and walkable town, even if you don't stay at the recommended resort, you should be able to walk to the wedding location from just about anywhere.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, please bring pesos for tips.
When is the RSVP deadline?
We kindly ask that you RSVP by July 1st, 2024. If you need more time, please reach out to TJ or Colleen to let them know.
When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?
The reception should end around 10:30PM, we do expect to hit the bars around Sayulita afterwards. Please pace your drinks accordingly.
Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?
Please see the "Travel" section of this website for hotel block information. We strongly encourage everyone to stay at the Amor Boutique hotel with us.
What is the dress code?
Beach Cocktail.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?
We kindly ask that no pictures or videos are taken during the ceremony and that your phones are turned off and put away during that time.
