What time is the ceremony?
4:30 pm. Please arrive by 4:00 and be in your seat by 4:15.
What to do if I am late to the ceremony?
If you are running late to the ceremony, please join us for the reception.
What should I wear?
We ask you to dress your best! The dress code for our wedding is semi formal. This can include dresses, a jumpsuit, or slacks and a blouse. Men can wear dress pants with a button up shirt, or a suit. Please no jeans, shorts, or bright colors.
*If weather permits, the ceremony will be held outside on grass. Be cautious of spikey heels in the grass. Choose your shoe choice wisely :)
What time is check-in at the hotels?
Check in is at 3:00 pm for Country Inn and 4:00 pm for Running Aces. Request an early check-in.
If you stay the night before, there is a list of fun things to do listed on the website.
Is there transportation to and from the wedding?
Yes! Please enjoy yourself with some drinks and utilize the shuttle services to and from the hotels. Check out the transportation tab on when the shuttle will be coming to and from.
Is there parking available at the wedding venue?
Yes there is a gravel parking lot outside the wedding venue. There will be a parking lot attendant who will direct guests where to park. However, there is NO overnight parking.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. For example, your envelope would list "(your name) & Guest."
Can I bring my kids?
Please refer to your invitation. For example your invitation will say "(your name) & family." If we are unable to invite your children, we hope you will see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy the party!
What if I did not RSVP?
Unfortunately, the RSVP deadline has passed. If you can still attend, please let me know as soon as possible so we can make the necessary arrangements. There will be a seating chart and food accommodations.
Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?
The rehearsal dinner is for family and the wedding party only. Your wedding invitation will have the details regarding the rehearsal dinner if you were invited.
Where is the ceremony?
If weather permits, the ceremony is located in a open courtyard field at Abella. There is a trolley that will take guests to and from the ceremony. If you want to walk, it is about a 5 min walk on a gravel road. If walking just choose your shoe choice wisely.
How does seating work for ceremony and reception?
The ceremony will be open seating, with the first couple rows reserved for family. For the reception there will be assigned seating. We will be arranging tables, so our guests are sat with those they know/came with.
Can we take photos during the ceremony?
We’ve hired a photographer and we’d love to have photos with no phones or devices in them. Please put away your cameras and phones during our wedding ceremony.
Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be taking place outside if weather permits. The outdoor ceremony is an open countryside yard.
Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?
The reception will be held indoors.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the wedding party and family will be taking pictures nearby. Guests can head straight to the patio where we will be serving beverages and hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour.
Will there be an open bar?
There will be complimentary beer, wine, and seltzers served. Bring cash for mixed drinks!
Should I bring cash?
We are playing a 50/50 raffle game. Bring money to play :)
Can I bring alcohol?
There will be NO outside alcohol at the wedding venue. The couple will be fined if outside alcohol is brought onsite.
Is smoking allowed onsite?
There will be a designated smoking area for tobacco products only.
Can I bring a gift?
We would greatly appreciate a contribution to one of our funds under the registry tab. We will also have a card box at the reception.
If I give cash in one of the funds on the website, does the knot take a certain percentage of the money?
The Knot is entirely free for couples—that means no set up fee and no percentage taken out of your final cash total.
