As many of you may know, we met through work. We went to a bunch of happy hours with coworkers, getting to know each other a little more each time. Jessica learned that Todd loved to play darts as much as she did, enjoyed hiking and the outdoors, and had great love for art. Jessica found out down the road that Todd would only go to happy hour if Jessica was going to be there.

One week for happy hour Jessica found out her Aunt and Uncle from Seattle were in town for her Uncle's beer tapping that evening. Jessica invited a few coworkers, including Todd, to go. During this event, Jessica invited her friend to a hockey game. Her friend said, why don't you ask Todd to go. Jessica, at her friends recommendation, asked Todd to the game and of course he said, Sure! This friend of our's secretly knew that we were attracted to each other and pushed us in the right direction. Just wait, it get's better!

On our first date to the CBJ game, Todd wanted to take Jessica out to dinner. They struggled to find a place that had an open seat. They ended up at Barley's and had the most fantastic meal. On the way to the game Jessica told her brother-in-law, Leo, that she would be at the game and told him where they would be sitting. She also mentioned she was on a date! Leo decided to sit with them after he sang, since the seats were great and some were open. As time went on, Jessica was trying to get to know more about Todd and show her love for CBJ. Leo being a big fan too was a bit much for a first date and soon realized Jessica needed him to give them a little space.

Oh no! He still returned back during the Third Period as it was the best area to watch from. In the end it was incredibly nice having family, and for Todd to get to know Leo.
