On October 29, 2023 at the Circuit Assembly of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Joshua walked over to the section I was sitting in with a vacuum cleaner. I looked up and said "hmm he's cute I've never seen him before. Who is this" I introduced myself and so did he. After our introductions he said he had to get his group started with the cleanup. I grabbed my things and proceeded to walk away.

Three weeks later I took his aunt's invitation to come visit her congregation. For months she had invited me to come visit her congregation, but I was unable to do so. As soon as I walked in I noticed Joshua in the front row of the Kingdom Hall handling the stage microphone. I had a plan that I was not leaving today without his number. After the meeting I met the rest of his family and asked for his mom's number, just so that I could include asking for his number as well. My plan worked we exchanged numbers! I text him later that day to tell him I made it home safely and it was nice seeing him again. He did not respond until 3 days later. However when he did respond, it was wonderful and we have been chatting away becoming best friends and now we are getting married!!
