The first time we met! Tom brought the kids up to Virginia to see his sister's family and his mom for spring break, and Chelsea had come up to visit too. We had briefly met each other a few years before, but only in passing.

During that trip a really fun and beautiful friendship was created over shared dreams, passions, lots of games, laughter, and love of family. Little did we know how much our friendship would endure and grow over the next few years.

After a crazy few years with lots of changes for both Tom and Chelsea, a friendship was happily rekindled.

That friendship quickly grew from catching up to talking every day...

Tom came out to visit and we had our first official date in Colorado after months of talking!
