Reno–Tahoe International Airport (RNO) – Closest option, about 35 minutes from Truckee. Easy access and plenty of rental car choices.

Sacramento International Airport (SMF) – About 1 hour and 45 minutes from Truckee. A good alternative to Reno, with more availability of daily direct flights.

We recommend renting a car for the weekend. Ride shares can be unreliable in the Truckee-Tahoe area.

If your trip will be a short one, Uber and Lyft are available for local travel. However, availability and wait times may vary, so be sure to order well in advance.

Alternatively, the North Lake Tahoe Express provides shuttle services between the Reno airport and Truckee (via the green route). TART buses provide free transportation around Truckee and North Lake Tahoe.

Tahoe has plenty of Airbnb options if you’re looking to rent a house, but we can’t guarantee transportation to or from Airbnb locations. There are a handful of home rentals within walking distance of the venue on both Airbnb and VRBO if you want to stay close.
