My sister and I might have fought over her telling me what to do but now I cant make a decision without her. She has been through so much with me, from teaching me to braid my hair to watching "Miss Congeniality" with me a thousand times to helping me navigate freshman year of high school.
Taylor Michelle Evans - Matron of Honor
Taylor Michelle and I were college roommates and I couldn't have asked for a better roommate turned best friend. She knows me better than I know myself. She has always supported me and has my back. I couldn't image getting married without her there.
Megan Ann - Bridesmaid
One of my favorite memories with Megan was the summer I spent with her watching movies such as "Encino Man" and "Son in Law" and hanging at the pool. Growing up, she was always the person I could talk to about anything or get advice about things like boys!! And I know she will continue to be an amazing support for me throughout my marriage.
Hannah Utecht - Bridesmaid
Crazy as it sounds, Hannah was my boss in Wisconsin at WQOW, who is now one of my best friends that I can talk to for hours. She interviewed me on the phone from Texas and I remember being so nervous. I pictured her as an older woman with kids, probably very focused on work and would judge my work harshly. Then I met her and I found out she is this really chill girl who just loves her cats and making art. She made everyday at work hilarious and always inspires me to follow my passion and pushes me to be the best person I can be.
Haylie Cooperman - Bridesmaid
Haylie and I became friends through our mutual love for Taylor Michelle. We met during Taylor Michelle's wedding activities where she was a bridesmaid and I was her Maid of Honor. We have quickly gained a friendship where I know we will support each other through our marriage and life.
Nora Higgins - Bridesmaid
Nora is one of the funniest people I know. I remember staying up so late talking and laughing on the floor of an Air bnb in Austin. She's honest and true to herself. We may not have been friends for long, but I know that we will be there for each other for quite a long time.
Groomsmen
Kyle Harris - Best Man
Cousins by blood, but brothers at heart. Kyle and I have been inseperable since boyhood. We have always been on the same wavelength in a way that only brothers can be. He is true to himself, has a sharp eye for moments that need to captured, and pours the finest cup of coffee this side of the Rocky Mountains. I am overjoyed that he made the decision to move to Washington shortly after Clare and I, and that I will have him directly beside me on my wedding day.
Jordan Eddings - Groomsman
A premium human being. Jordan has been my best friend for roughly 13 years now, and who he is has never changed. His kindness, loyalty, work ethic, and willingness to go out of his way for the people he cares for is nothing shor of inspiring. On top of being the best friend a guy could ask for, he is a remarkable photographer and puts down some insanely quick lap times out there on the running track. I couldn’t get married without him there for the big day.
Kamaan Richards - Groomsman
Truly one of my closest friends. I am forever grateful for his inspiration to spend more time in the great outdoors, and to know someone with such a similar sense of humor. Since being roomates, we have lived in separate states but still make time for at least one annual trip to hang. I am thankful that he’s always down for an adventure, whether its an early morning hike or a walk down Westheimer at 1AM for pie. He makes a mean omelette, but an even better brother, and I am thankful to have him as one of my groomsmen.
Vince Allanigue - Groomsman
Genuine, talented, and remarkably dressed. Vince and I have known each other since we were kids and he’s always been a friend I know that I can depend on without a doubt. It is crazy to think we have gone from Junior High science projects to talking about housing markets and career moves. On top of always having my back, he has consistently been one of the most creative and artfully minded people I know. Not many people are lucky to have a friend of such quality.
Edy Huskic - Groomsman
My oldest friend. Believe it or not, Edy and I have been friends since kindergarten. While life has taken us down our own roads, we have always remained the best of friends. We could have those “rember that time when,” conversations for hours on end. Because of this man, I have eaten copius amounts of Bosnian food and even learned a few helpful curse words. Having him alongside me on my wedding day will truly be an amazing moment and another milestone in a nearly 25 year long friendship.
Adam Andrus - Groomsman
Zen incarnate. Peace personified. Adam and I met as coworkers, and over the course of five years of sitting in the same room together day after day, we became great friends. Some of the best conversations I have had in my life have been with this man. His constant quest for knowledge and his unique perspective on the world have made him nothing short of influential and one of my favorite people to talk to- which comes in handy when you have a moderately succesful podcast together for a brief time.
