It all began at Cask and Kettle, where Tom had come in for his Guinness and Sheppard's pie. He was chatting with Jasmine's co-workers, because the two clearly did not know each other. Tom was quiet for the most part, and seemed grumpy. So their initial interactions were minimal.

After leaving, Tom realized he just couldn't go without taking a shot on this weird, beautiful being who was Jasmine. He messaged his friend after he left, who was working at Cask, and asked if he thought Jas would be interested. She said yes, and Tom came marching right back.

After coming back in the restaurant and out of the toilet, he had informed the staff that someone threw up all over the men's washroom. Jasmine, being Jasmine, forced Tom to come stand at the door and watch guard while she mopped up someone else's sick.
