Q + A

When should I RSVP?

Kindly RSVP by 11th September so that we can have an accurate headcount for the venue and catering. You can RSVP on the website or contact us directly. If we haven’t received your RSVP by the specified date we will assume you are not coming and mark you down as ‘not attending’

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

The ceremony will take place at 12:30pm at St John The Baptist Church, Smalley (DE7 6JX) followed by the reception at Shottle Hall, Belper (DE56 2EB)

Is there parking?

Church: There is a small car park which gets opened at the church which could potentially hold 12 cars but there is also lots of off street parking Shottle Hall: Lots of parking - 2 big car parks and also fine to leave cars there for the night and collect in the morning

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony starts at 12:30pm, please arrive at least 30 minutes before that time to allow time for parking and finding your seat

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We would love for all our family and friends to be fully present in the moment with us, so we ask that you kindly put your phones away and on silent for an unplugged ceremony. We are more than happy for you to take photos/videos once the ceremony is over. We just ask that you don’t post anything on social media before we do

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free meal options?

Are kids welcome?

We have decided to keep our wedding as adults only with the exception of immediate family

What should I wear?
