We would love for you to join us for our wedding weekend!

We will be kicking off the celebrations on Friday 15th August ahead of our big day on Saturday 16th. We have put together this website instead of physical invitations, to give you all of the details you’ll need for the weekend, including travel, accommodation, and how to RSVP. We cannot wait to party with you all!

Our Wedding

Friday 15th August

We would love for you all to join us for some pre-wedding celebrations on Friday 15th August 2025. There will be hot food (smashed burgers), but you are welcome to bring any snacks you might fancy too. We'll also have some welcome drinks to kick things off, but feel free to bring your favourite drink to enjoy throughout the evening. We're hoping for a chilled evening where everyone can get to know each other before the big day!There’s no dress code, we just want you all to be comfy and chilled. We will be outside, and whilst there’ll be a firepit and shelter, bring layers!

Travel

The venue is located in East Cowton, a village just north of Northallerton in North Yorkshire. The full address is: Alexander Weddings &amp; EventsCornhill FarmEast CowtonDL7 0JW Directions:The entrance to the venue is off the B1263 and has signage at the entrance Lake Henry along with Cornhill Livery. Follow the track to the top and take a right into the farm yard, go through the farm yard and turn left after the barn. You will glimpse the top of the tipis, follow the track to the bottom car park, where the glamping village is.

Accommodation

Lake Henry has a glamping village set in peaceful (well until you lot arrive!) countryside. The glamping pods can be booked from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th August, or just for one night if you would prefer. As there are a limited number of pods, we will be sending out the booking linkonce we have received RSVP's, so we can try and make sure there is space foreverybody who would like to stay. The prices for the pods are as follows: Double Pods (sleep 2)&nbsp;£145 one night / £240 two nights&nbsp;En-suite Pods (sleeps 3)For 2 people - £205 one night / £360 two nights(extra child £25 per night / extra adult - £60 per night)&nbsp;Twin pods (sleep 2)&nbsp;£145 one night / £240 two nights&nbsp;Family/Double pods (sleeps 2 adults &amp; 2 children or 3 adults)&nbsp;2 adults &amp; two children - £170 one night / £290 two nights3 adults - £205 one night / £360 two nights.2 adults - £145 one night / £240 two nights (extra child £25 per night / extra adult £60 per night). Things to Do

Registry

To have you all with us really is the best gift we could ask for, especially when so many of you will be travelling so far to be there, so please don’t feel obliged to bring a gift. That being said, this wedding has cost us an absolute fortune and now we’re skint. So, if you would like to give a gift, cold hard cash for our honeymoon would be very much appreciated!

When is the RSVP deadline? 

Please RSVP by 31.01.2025 so we can organise the accommodation and send out the booking link.

Are kids welcome? 

As much as we love your little ones, we want everyone to let their hair down and party with us, so we have limited the children invited. Unless we have discussed with you otherwise,&nbsp;this invitation is for adults only.&nbsp;

Where should I Park? 

There is plenty of onsite parking in the Glamping Village.

What should i wear? 

Wedding glam is the order of the day; dress to impress! The ceremony will be outdoors on the lakeside and heel protectors are provided for anyone wearing stilettos.The tipi and decked area has solid wooden flooring throughout.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them with us. However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony and please do not post any photographs to social media until we have.

How will food and drinks be served?

There will be canapes served during the drinks reception followed by a two course wedding breakfast of Texas BBQ sharing boards and sides. There will also be pizza later on in the evening to soak up the booze! There is a bar at the venue which takes cash or card payments.

What If I have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know on your RSVP of any dietary requirements.

Where can we stay?

We’d really love you to stay with us onsite at the venue in the exclusive wedding accommodation village. Please see our accommodation page for information on the accommodation and how to book.

What is included in the accommodation?

The pods come with everything you need for a good nights sleep; a comfortable bed, bedding, towels, plugs for your gadgets and heating if you need it! There is self service tea and coffee in the Food Shack during your stay and breakfast is included.

When can we check into the accommodation?

Check in to the wedding village is from 3pm the day before and 10am the day of the wedding. Check out is 12pm the day after the wedding so plenty of time for breakfast and to say goodbyes!

Will there be somewhere for getting ready? 

The wedding village has a makeup shack with lots of mirrors, plugs and good lighting!

What is the toilet/shower situation in the glamping village? 

For those not staying in an en-suite pod (there are only 5 of these), there is a toilet and shower block in the glamping village. We appreciate everyone would probably prefer an en-suite, but please don't worry, the facilities are really lovely, just like the rest of the venue!

Can we bring our own food and drink? 

For the Friday, please do bring your own booze for the pre-wedding party. We haven't yet decided on what to do about food, so will keep you updated. During the wedding day and reception, only drinks provided by us or purchased at the bar can be consumed at the venue.
