114 Days To Go!

Are children invited?

To allow all our guests to relax and enjoy the evening, we have chosen to make our wedding an adult-only occasion (with the exception of immediate family). We appreciate your understanding. We recognize that this may present challenges for some families, and we encourage you to reach out to us directly if you have any concerns.

What is the dress code?

We'd love for you to join us in celebrating our wedding in cocktail attire. This means dresses, suits, and everything in between that makes you feel stylish and ready to party! Ladies, this is your chance to shine in your favorite cocktail dress or a chic jumpsuit. Gentlemen, a suit and tie are the way to go. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

What will the weather be like?

September weather in New Hampshire can be unpredictable, so pack layers and be prepared for anything.

Does New Hampshire have sales tax?

This is where it gets interesting! New Hampshire is famous for having no general sales tax on most everyday items. Think clothes, groceries, electronics – you won't see that extra charge at the register.

However, there are a few exceptions where you will encounter taxes:

Dining out: Restaurants and takeout have an 8.5% Meals and Rooms Tax.

Staying overnight: That same 8.5% tax applies to hotels and short-term rentals.

Renting a car: A 9% tax is added to your rental bill.

Phone and internet: These services have a 7% tax.

So, while you can shop 'til you drop without sales tax worries, keep those exceptions in mind when planning your trip or budgeting!
