If coming from I80 be prepared for a beautiful 25 minute windy drive from Colfax. The route from Grass Valley is not nearly as windy and still a beautiful drive. Parking will be on the lower lot - please enter the through the gate on Lodestar. The walk from the parking lot is a short steep climb.
