Our story started at Play Louisville and it was history from there. We knew of each other through mutual friends but hadn't talked to each other until one night we sat in the car and talked and before you know it it was daylight!
We then of course we did the typical talking on snapchat, ALL day and ALL night. When we finally hung out the first few times I would not hang out with Tomia unless my roommate was there. (I even went as far as telling her she couldn't come over unless she brought me and my roommate ice cream.)
Tomia asked me on my first date ever and we went to Luvino's. I was super nervous and to be completely honest it was my first date in public with a girl. She was patient and sweet and held my hands over the table....pause I know shes cute. LOL. The best part was I never wanted it to end and it didn't when she asked me to be her girlfriend July 7th, 2018.
We traveled to LA, VA, Disney world, ATL and many many more. That became our thing. We love to road trip and any chance we get we do. Side note: When we went to LA I knew deep down I was going to marry her, so sitting at the bus stop to go to the observatory I asked her to marry me she laughed and said no. Which is totally fine because I didn't have a ring or anything at this time.
I decided the place I wanted to propose to her was Disney, I knew it was fate when I was shopping for her ring and the lady helping me was named Ursula. I got the ring and got some of my closest friends to help me arrange to propose in front of the castle. NOW y'all who know me know I cant keep a secret at all. I made it though somehow and I got on one knee and asked her to be my wife. She of course said yes!!
She kept calling me her fiance and I jokingly kept telling her I needed a ring, here's how she surprised the heck out of me (From her of course).
I went out the next day and went to find her ring. It was pretty easy because i know how sparkly she is and there was no competition when choosing, I just knew it! From that point on I planned everyday to propose! What better place to ask her to start a life with me other than the very place we met. With help from my amazing family, I had a fan made for her that asked her to marry me, but I had to be a little more sneaky, we all know how inquisitive she is! Haha so I planned everyone to be there to Take Our Picture by the mural outside out bar where we take pictures on many occasions. Watching her read the fan while I got down on one knee and seeing her face immediately glow while she said YES will be a day I forever cherish.
Our next big adventure will be becoming one on October 24,2021. We cant wait for all of you to be apart of our day.
