Tommi and Ethan's love story all began at Arizona State, where they first laid eyes on each other. Tommi, a sophomore, and Ethan, a freshman, were both outgoing athletes with a strong faith, making it inevitable for their paths to cross. Every year Fellowship of Christian Athletes would throw a big bbq and fortunately, for their sake they both attended. When Tommi walked through the door, Ethan was immediately awe-struck and captivated by her presence. From that moment forward, he knew she had something truly special about her. With confidence, Ethan approached Tommi and struck up a conversation, asking for her name. There was a moment of confusion when Tommi pronounced her name as "Tall-Me." After that moment, their journey together was filled with ping pong matches (which Ethan often lost), ice cream dates, countless study sessions, late-night talks, dinner dates, movies, hikes, texting all day, and traveling!

As their bond grew, Tommi and Ethan both couldn't help but talk about how incredible each other was to their family and friends. They eagerly looked forward to the day they could introduce each other to their families since they knew how much they would love them. Summer of 2019, Tommi brought Ethan home with her to Hawaii, where they created many cherished memories with her family that they'll never forget.

Their love story continued for two more wonderful years at ASU, but Tommi knew she still had more to achieve in her athletic pursuits. So she decided, with continuous support from Ethan, to compete at Kansas State University while pursuing more education. This was a difficult decision made with ease because of Ethan's unwavering encouragement. Meanwhile, Ethan completed his undergraduate degree at ASU and played football. Right as Tommi received great news she'd be moving back to Arizona to get her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, Ethan and her decided it was best for him to pursue a master's degree while continuing to play football, leading to another year of long-distance love.

After being distant from the person they loved most, they knew that if two years of distance couldn't take them apart, nothing could! Filled with excitement and love, he created the most perfect proposal on Tommi's favorite beach solidifying their commitment to a lifetime together.

Now, they eagerly anticipate the future with joy and gratitude, excited to celebrate this special time in their lives with those they hold dear. Thank you for being a part of our love story and for sharing in the happiness of our journey together.
