Our story began at Cleveland State where we both attended college. Robert played on the Lacrosse team and Toni played Soccer. We met through mutual friend groups at a party and started talking back in the fall of 2017. After hanging out and getting to know each other the next couple of months, Toni stopped playing hard to get and agreed to go out on our first date. We both lived in the Cleveland area, going to school and working in the summers. After Toni’s final season playing Soccer, she graduated in the Winter and got an opportunity to go to Medical School in Barbados. So nothing was stopping Toni, so we decided to do long distance (insert sad, crying Rob).

Toni spent 2 years down in Barbados going to Ross University (absolutely killing it). Just kidding, she just spent her whole time on the beaches rather than studying… Robert was able to make it down there to visit a couple times. The last time he visited was when he proposed to Toni, on the beach, in Barbados (although Toni was not thrilled that there were random bystanders around while it happened). Fast forward, and we are now living in Chicago with our French Bulldog Mochi. Toni is continuing her Rotations before applying for Residency and Robert is working remote (with Mochi).

We cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with all of you!
