We met long ago on a Tuesday night sometime in 2004. Not sure of the exact date, but Toy Shop was playing at a local venue Crossroads.

I was freshly divorced and learning to live my life without my 3 kids all the time since I had joint custody. The weeks the kids were with their Dad were pretty hard to stay home with my own thoughts and worries. So, I decided to start being Toni and go see live music, experience the life I had never experienced. Tuesday became a tradition as Toy Shop was a favorite of mine! On that fateful night, prior to leaving for Crossroads I read my angel cards, and for the first time pulled an Archangel card. The reading was so powerful and filled me with a sense of hope, love and light.

Toy Shop was playing their hearts out and music was making my soul shake light! As they finished their first set, I turned and saw this man with beautiful curly long hair and I was immediately drawn to him. He turned around and he was surrounded with a beautiful white light and it appeared as if he had wings and a halo. I had not in my life seen anything that bright since Sami. I was reminded of my Angel card and had no reserve in strolling right over to him and asking him his name. He said Luther, and I said oh my that was my card Angel tonight! He said really? Tell me about it...and our story began. The conversation intrigued me, he was so handsome and had the most beautiful blue eyes I had ever seen in my life. Sparks were definitely flying. Then I asked him how old he was and immediately said oh no, we will just have to be friends. I wrote my number down on the bottom of a guest ticket from Crossroads and gave it to him. Last I checked he still has that ticket!

Over the next four years our friendship continued, grew as each of us went through our lives and struggles, relationships and big changes. We grew close during similar relationship struggles and being great listeners to each other. The attraction between us was really undeniable. Eventually in 2008 I caved and decided I didn't care about our age difference and that is how our love story went to the next chapters of our life together.

Now here we are almost sixteen years later getting married and the love we have for each other has only grown over the years. We are best friends to each other and our love is the one everyone dreams of having. It's a love story baby!
