We met in Gainesville, Fla in 1982. There seemed to be a spark between us of something more. But the timing was not right. As time passed, each of us encountered love, disappointment, and some heartache, but we learned about ourselves and what we needed in order to be in a joyful relationship.

Neither of us expected that we would one day have a chance to see if the interest between us was still there.

God, who knows our hearts and our needs, provided us with an opportunity decades later to see if the spark was real. We recognized in each other the goodness and wonder that God knew we would find. And we fell in love.
