Our Wedding

Everything began on March 10, 2019, with a message from Tony on Instagram that said: “Hello señorita…” From the moment I decided to reply, we never stopped communicating. We started talking through Instagram, then exchanged phone numbers, and shortly after, we began talking on FaceTime. A few days later, he asked me out on a date to meet in person. A bit nervous, I said yes. From our first date, Tony made it a point to take up all my weekends so no one else would have a chance to ask me out. We both felt a mix of excitement and fear, but little by little we began to realize that God was answering our prayers and giving us a new chance at love. &nbsp;Tony is the man I had asked God to bring into my life for a long time: a man with a big heart, loving toward his children, a man of faith, hardworking, an excellent son… and what we didn’t know back then was that God had even bigger plans for us.&nbsp; He won my heart with his delicious food, with the way he was with my children and my family, and from the very beginning, he always made sure that we were all doing well — both the kids and me.

Todo comenzó el 10 de marzo de 2019, con un mensaje de Tony por Instagram que decía: “Hello señorita…”. Desde el momento en que decidí responderle, nunca más dejamos de comunicarnos. Empezamos hablando por Instagram, luego nos compartimos los números de teléfono y poco después comenzamos a hablar por FaceTime. A los pocos días, me pidió salir en una cita para conocernos en persona. Yo, con un poco de nervios, acepté. Desde nuestro primer encuentro, Tony se encargó de ocupar todos mis fines de semana para que nadie más tuviera oportunidad de invitarme a salir. Ambos teníamos una mezcla de ilusión y miedo, pero poco a poco fuimos dándonos cuenta de que Dios estaba respondiendo nuestras oraciones y dándonos una nueva oportunidad en el amor. Tony era el hombre que por mucho tiempo le pedí a Dios que pusiera en mi camino: con un gran corazón, amoroso con sus hijos, hombre de fe, trabajador, excelente hijo… y lo que no sabíamos en ese entonces era que Dios tenía aún más planes para nosotros. Me enamoró con su deliciosa comida, con su forma de ser con mis hijos y con mi familia, y desde el primer momento siempre se aseguró de que estuviéramos bien, tanto ellos como yo.
