We met on a Friday night at Applebee’s—completely unplanned, totally unexpected, and somehow, absolutely perfect. It was just a regular evening, the kind where you don’t expect anything out of the ordinary. But then he saw me.

He says the first thing he noticed was how beautiful I looked. I didn’t know it at the time, but in that moment, something in him said he had to talk to me. And in the most bold (and honestly hilarious) move, he asked me for a bite of my food. Not just a sample—he wanted a taste of whatever I was enjoying like we were old friends.

Without missing a beat, I handed him the very last scrap of it.

That tiny exchange, so random and silly, somehow became the beginning of everything. It said more than words ever could—that we’d be generous with each other, that we’d make each other laugh, and that we’d never take ourselves too seriously.

From that night on, something just felt right. And here we are now—still sharing food, laughs, and a life we never saw coming, but couldn’t imagine any other way.
