Q + A

Will our wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Both the wedding ceremony and reception will be held outside (weather permitting) at Oak Hill Ranch.

The dress code is CASUAL. What does that mean?

The wedding will take place mostly outside, weather permitting. Men should wear a button down shirt and khakis or nice pressed jeans, and can wear a tie or a sport coat (wearing both risks being a little overdressed). Casual dresses like sundresses and jumpsuits are appropriate for women. Distressed jeans, shorts, and sneakers should not be worn.

*LADIES PLEASE NOTE*

Since the wedding is mostly outside, the ground will mostly consist of soft grass and the dance floor is wood decking. We would suggest something comfortable, easy to dance and walk around in, without getting caught in the the cracks of the decking or stuck/sink in the grass. (Highly suggest cowboy boots 🤠)

Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?

We kindly ask that you do not wear colors traditionally reserved for the bride (I.e. whites, creams, ivories, etc.)

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Your wedding invitation and RSVP card will be addressed to everyone invited to our wedding. While we would love to invite as many people as possible, we have to be mindful of the guest counts we have provided to our vendors.

Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones, cameras, and other devices be turned off or on silent during the ceremony. We have hired the most amazing photography/videography team and would hate to have a phone popping up in their way. After the ceremony please take as many pictures as you would like at the cocktail hour and reception. We promise to share all the professional photo and video with you as well. Thanks!
