Flights

The best way to get to Tulum is to fly into Cancun and then hire a taxi or rent a car to drive the rest of the way. By car, Tulum is about an hour and a half drive from Cancun. As flights are being booked we will be helping people coordinate and arrange ride shares to make this as seamless as possible. Each ride share is $250 round trip and can fit around 9-10 people per shuttle. The drivers will be at the airport upon arrival and will pick up from the villa to shuttle back to the airport for departure.

If you are flying from Southern California, we would highly recommend flying out of Tijuana and purchasing a ticket to use CBX to cross the border.

As a separate "hot tip," we highly recommend bringing cash to the airport and exchanging your money to pesos within the airport. You will receive a much better rate at the airport than in the city of Tulum or Cancun.

Where to Stay?

There are two main parts to Tulum, the town/city and the hotel zone (beach strip).

The hotel zone is beautiful, with one road that extends for several miles down the coast. On one side you have beach side restaurants and resorts and on the other you have more of the same nested into the jungle. Staying here tends to be more costly but closer to the welcome dinner and the wedding reception. We have stayed at Alaya Tulum in this area and highly recommend.

The city is just a 20min drive away from the hotel zone and also a great place to say with a ton of options. Two options are Hotel Bardo or Hotel Muare.

The bridal party and families will be staying at the ceremony site in Soliman Bay (about 25 minutes from Tulum town/hotel zone). It is very quiet and peaceful. For those that would like to stay in Soliman Bay as well, there is a hotel called Jashita that you can book through this website: https://www.jashitahotel.com/ or a little farther out La Posada del Sol Tulum.
