LIFE IS FUNNY AND BEAUTIFUL…Our story actually starts about 26 years ago. I got a call from my cousin and she invited me over for a cookout after work (middle of the week). I am thinking okay she has everything and is ready, food ready to be thrown on the grill ready!!! Well no, Her boyfriend brought the food and a male friend (Don). Food had to be prepped and then cooked. We got over there at about 5pm. we didn't eat till 1130pm. Too late but oh well. I met Don, we talked, I watched tv because a show was coming on that I was not going to miss. (we did not have DVR's back then). So I watched my show, still hungry. The show was off, food was finally ready. Don didn't want to eat, said it was too late. But I talked him into it and then we finally ate. We wanted to play spades after but Don did not want to talk to me let along be my partner because he thought I was stuck up because I watched tv instead of talking to him. Well if you know me I will try to make you talk. So I made him talk and he played spades also. We learned a little about each other. He liked what he heard because I could tell he was intrigued. I found out what he did for a living and I needed some work done. So he gave me his information and I gave him mine. We stared talking and then dating.

As you probably know, there were some hiccups through the years but we produced a son that we are so proud of and he embraced my daughter. We now have a son -n-law and a granddaughter. And now we are finally getting married. 6/28/2025.
