Our Wedding

Tori and Travis first met during freshmen orientation at Rowan University, and later discovered they not only lived in the same dorm, but only a few doors away! As two civil engineers, they shared a lot of classes together, and were part of an amazing group of friends.

Love at First Sight

The next four years were a bit of a wild ride, but Tori and Travis did it together. Camping out in the engineering building and cramming for exams made up most of their week, but on the weekends it was time to let loose! Many weekends were spent in the guys' apartment, mixing wild concoctions and laughing amongst friends. Once they were allowed to have cars on-campus, they would always go to Duffield's for some homemade apple cider and pumpkin picking, or to the Silver Diner in Cherry Hill. One of their favorite date nights was spent at the Delsea Drive-In, one of the last few drive-in theaters in the state. Four years seemed to last forever, and yet in May of 2020, it passed by in just the blink of an eye. And suddenly, college life was over, and real life had begun!

Surviving College Together

Travis made the move down to Marlboro, NJ into Tori’s childhood home, and they quickly became their own little family. They put in a lot of work to make a house their home, including a new little garden in the backyard. With new jobs and a lot to look forward to, they had to set some new goals, and one of them was planning roadtrips! They’ve been on a bunch - Acadia National Park, Green Mountains in Vermont, Watkins Glen, and Lake Winnipesaukee, just to name a few. And they havent just been on the road, but in the air too! Florida was a hit, once for Universals Haunted Horror Nights and again for Disneyland, but their most recent trip has by far, been the best.

Time to Hit the Road!

One of Toris lifelong dreams has been to see the California coastline, and in April of 2025 they did just that! Their trip was full of amazing adventures - from seeing the abundance of wildlife on the sandy shores, to touring around Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row, to driving down scenic Route 1, to hiking at 7,500 feet in Sequoia National Forest, and finally, to Travis getting on one knee at Shark Fin Cove. There’s not a single thing they would change.

Golden Plough Inn features a fitness center, garden, a restaurant and bar in New Hope. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and an ATM. The property is non-smoking throughout and is located 20 miles from Sesame Place. At the hotel, every room includes a closet. Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries, guest rooms at Golden Plough Inn have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and selected rooms have a seating area. At the accommodation every room is equipped with bed linen and towels. Guests at Golden Plough Inn will be able to enjoy activities in and around New Hope, like hiking, fishing and cycling. The property has a hairdresser's and business center. Princeton University is 28 miles from the hotel. Trenton-Mercer Airport is 16 miles away.

Peddler's Village is a storybook village with tons of shopping, dining, and lodging available! At the beginning of November, they have their annual Apple Festival - celebrating apple season in Bucks County since 1973!

Right on the border of NJ and PA, New Hope offers a wide variety of shops, riverside dining, cultural attractions, and a historic theater! There's an art gallery or antique store on practically every corner. Tori's favorite shop to poke around in is Love Saves the Day - there's always something new to look at. Feeling adventurous? Try a leisurely bike ride down the Delaware Canal, or cross the bridge to head into Lambertville! There's something for everyone in New Hope, and everyone is welcome.

New Hope, PA

Admist all the wedding excitement, take some time to stop and smell the flowers - literally! Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve offers over 4 miles of trails that wind through forests and meadows, and features over 700 native plant species. Peak fall foliage reveals swathes of reds, oranges, and burnt yellows, and their visitor center has plenty of spaces dedicated for birdwatching. If sightseeing is more up your alley, check out the Bowman's Hill Tower, which stands at 125-feet tall and gives an incredible view of the Delaware River.

This is one of the potential venues we were looking at! (But keep that a secret!) A beautiful castle right in the center of Doylestown, they offer guided tours throughout the entire property. Every room is unique, with individual hand-crafted, painted tiles adorning the available spaces - it's not something you can see anywhere else.

If you've made it this far down our little list, congratulations! This is a Tori recommended spot (if you couldn't tell). Our wedding may be just after spooky season, but that doesn't mean it's not included! Sink your teeth into this spine-tingling museum, just a few minutes away from Fonthill Castle.
