Tori and Anthony both attended Hopkins High School in Minnetonka. They met through their mutual friend Tyler at a Halloween haunted house that Anthony and his friends had set up. After this, they began spending time together with a group of friends on and off throughout high school.
After high school they fell out of touch for a while, as Anthony pursued subcontracting in the cities and Tori went off to college at Drake University. Tori and Anthony began talking again during the summer after Tori's sophomore year. They began to spend time together with their group of friends again (oh, and Anthony got a puppy, which may or may not have helped bring them together). After spending more time together, Anthony decided that he "might as well make it official" and ask Tori to be his girlfriend. From here they continued into a long distance relationship until Tori graduated.
Tori and Anthony had been together for a little over 5 years when they planned a trip to Italy together. It was going to be the first time the two had traveled outside of the country together. Many of their friends had wondered if Anthony would pop the question, but Tori didn't want to get her hopes up.
During their trip, Tori and Anthony stayed in Milan and traveled to Florence and Switzerland. It was toward the end of their trip, on New Years Eve that Anthony asked Tori to marry him.
Tori and Anthony are grateful for all of their friends and family and are looking forward to celebrating with them on the big day!
