Our Wedding

When a couple says that they met online, usually they are talking about a dating app like Hinge or Bumble. Our story is a little different. Tori &amp; I met on a Zoom happy hour at the height of the pandemic. We quickly moved from Zoom to private messages, then to texting, then to Facetime calls every night. After staying up until 2 AM talking and laughing for a few nights in a row, we realized it would be better for us (and our sleep schedules) to finally meet in person. On January 15th, 2021, I drove down to Annapolis, MD for our first date. We spent the whole weekend together and neither of us wanted it to end. We both knew it wouldn’t be the last we saw of each other, and it only took a few more weekends together to realize we’d be together forever. The next year and a half consisted of long distance dating. We spent every other weekend commuting between Baltimore and Albany, with trips to NYC, Charleston, and Palm Beach sprinkled in. We knew very early on we wanted to move in together, and once my lease was up in Albany in June 2022, I moved down to Baltimore and into our first apartment together. It was very exciting going from Facetiming every night to actually spending all our time together. I knew very early on that I wanted to marry Tori, and about six months after moving in together I bought an engagement ring. It was not easy hiding the ring (or my excitement). After five weeks of hiding the ring in my dresser, I asked Tori to marry me on the pier in Fells Point. She thankfully said yes, and we spent the night celebrating with our friends and family (and a lot of Rumpleminze shots). We are truly blessed that we will be able to celebrate our wedding with all of you!
