Brian Wiseman and Tori Clark grew up over two hours apart in Ohio - Brian from a quiet town on Lake Erie, Tori from the suburbs of Columbus. Different worlds, right? So how on earth did these two end up here? The answer: The Ohio State University. Go Bucks!

They became friends freshman year of college while training to be Young Life leaders, but there was one small problem - Tori was dating someone else, and Brian had to wait things out from the sidelines. By sophomore year, the timing was finally right. At a Young Life Christmas party, they took part in a White Elephant gift exchange and ended up with each other’s gifts. Brian walked away with Tori’s silly string (yes, it still lives in his car), and Tori got Brian’s sparkling water. Brian used it as the perfect excuse to text her later that night, and a few days of back-and-forth led to their first date at Staufs. They talked for hours, and just a few dates later, on January 18, 2022, they made it official!

From Buckeye games and tailgates to Dairy Queen trips and walks around campus, their college years were filled with plenty of fun (and even an “I love you” from Brian just one month in - Tori’s still not sure if that was bold or reckless). After graduation came long-distance while Tori started grad school at Miami University and Brian stayed in Columbus to finish at OSU, but they knew they’d found their forever. On April 5, 2025, Brian finally popped the question (though not as stealthily as he hoped), and now they can’t wait to start married life together in Worthington, Ohio on June 5, 2026!
